Hudson was my dream dog. If there was ever a perfect dog, he was it. He was from Riply’s first litter which resulted in 5 boys. I was not looking for a boy puppy but Hudson was a puppy you couldn’t take your eyes off. As a show dog and a companion, we made many memories that will never fade. On top of winning multiple groups and a BIS, BOS at the Canadian National, he was breeder-owner handled to Best of Breed at the 2007 American National specialty two months shy of his 11th birthday putting him in the top 5 OES in America that year. He was the oldest dog to win an American specialty. Hudson retired that day to only be shown once more at the U.S. Top 20 invitational in 2008 at 11 1/2 years of age.
